On the high cost of infrastructure

This coming Monday I’ll be hosting Tyler Cowen, Alon Levy, and Ginny Roth for a conversation on state capacity and competence. I’m especially interested in Alon Levy’s thoughts on how large infrastructure projects might be built for cheaply, more quickly, and more flexibility.

In preparation for that discussion, I wrote piece on the high cost of Canadian infrastructure for The Hub. This is the first piece of mine that they’ve published, thought I’m sure there will be more. You can read it here.
